For golf enthusiasts, the Gran Bahía Príncipe La Romana hotel has several courses near the resort:
Guayabery Golf Course only 25 minutes from the hotel, its holes have special characteristics like 4.5 m waterfalls and indigenous coral formations. The course is 7,156 yards with 72 holes, has hills with gentle slopes, unique rock formations and lush vegetation.
“Casa de Campo" Golf Course located 5 km away, in the city of La Romana with two courses designed by Pete Dye. One with 8 holes on the coast of the sea and the other "Links" course, approximately 30 minutes from the hotel.
Metro Country Club Los Marlins Golf Course, designed by Charles Ankrom, is a course that possesses all the landscaping characteristics of a modern course. Holes: 18, par: 72. Only 20 minutes from the hotel.
Teeth of the Dog, considered by Golf Magazine to be the number one Golf course in the Caribbean, has 7 holes that play directly in the sea. It is located in la Romana, in the Country Club.
