The Bahia Principe Resort is formed by three 5-Star hotelsthe Bahia Principe Tulum, the Bahia Principe Akumal and the Gran Bahia Principe Coba. It's located in the middle of a newer area called the Riviera Maya, an uncrowded destination in the Yucutan Peninsula surrounded by natural beaches, Mayan ruins and many interesting places to visit. They are located approximately 1 hour south of the Cancun airport, and 20 minutes north of Tulum.
The Bahia Principe Tulum consists of 810 rooms of which 36 are Junior Suites, and the Bahia Principe Akumul has 485 rooms of which 413 are Junior Suites.

- Honeymoon Special - Honeymooners will receive a complimentary upgrade to Junior Suite (subject to availability upon arrival) plus fruit basket and a bottle of Tequila upon arrival. Please note Honeymooners in Special Requests section of the reservation form. Proof of recent marriage required.

- Shopping - La Hacienda Doņa Isabel is a typical Mexican hacienda featuring a convention center, restaurants, bars, disco, shops, arts and crafts, medical station, beauty salon, car rental and other services all within walking distance. In addition, a convenience store featuring tanning lotions, bottled water, snacks, beach wear, soft drinks, cigarettes, magazines, etc. is located in the lobby for anything you might need.
- Water Sports - Water sports include windsurfing, catamarans, sunfish sailing, boogie boards, kayaks and snorkeling equipment. Snorkeling, scuba diving and fishing expeditions available with surcharge. Note out of respect for the environment and in compliance with local regulations, motorized water sports are not allowed on our beaches.
